We had never used the term, "birth mom" before. I was so nervous. I was worried that we might have missed some magic window and that they were going to be traumatized by the whole fact that they didn't grow in my tummy.
Just the opposite. I told my husband with tears, I'm so thankful for these books. When they do finally realize what their birth mom did, this concept won't be foreign. We'll just keep reading these stories to them and when God chooses to show them what the reality is, it will be so much easier to understand.
So, thank you for your ministry. I love how you wrote the story and it will be a constant guide for us as we struggle to raise our little girls well.
